IEA Riding Team

Interscholastic Equestrian

Here at 2UW Brush Creek Ranch, we are heading up the IEA team in the greater Manhattan Kansas. Our coach and trainer, Care Haag, is the 2021-2022 IEA President, here in Kansas.

Join us today and become part of the IEA family.

An IEA rider’s journey starts with the desire to be a part of a team. Whether the team is the partnership with the horse that an IEA rider draws for a class at the horse show or the team that consists of old and new friends at the barn, an IEA rider has the opportunity to develop competitive riding skills while making memories that will last a lifetime. And the best part is, IEA riders do not need to own a horse or tack to participate.

The IEA hosts 3 disciplines: Hunt SeatWestern, and Dressage. An IEA team consists of at least 1 coach and 3 rider members.

Riders are organized by their grade level.

  • Riders in grades 4 – 8 compete on a Middle School (Futures) team.

  • Riders in grades 9 – 12 compete on an Upper School (Varsity / Jr Varsity) team.

  • A minimum of 3 riders are needed to form each type and level of the above teams.

No rider needs to own a horse.
It's your future. Take the reins. Grades 4–12.
