Reviews of 2UW Brush Creek Ranch in Westmoreland, KS
"Clare has been wonderful with my lessons. She is kind and patient while I'm still trying to put all the pieces together. My horse had been boarded there and trained by Clare as well. Clare has brought him a long way since he arrived. My horse has been well taken care of by 2UW."

"Brought him here when I wasn't satisfied with the care/cleanliness after an injury at a different facility, and they have been incredible to him!! They pay attention to his healing and have the skills to care for his needs. This facility is clean (!!!!), professional, and knowledgeable.
They have been training my Ash for 2.5 months, and my "unrideable" horse is being ridden! I had the pleasure of observing a training session, and the amount of knowledge and experience his trainer had was very evident. My horse would not stand still or out of peoples' space, and now he does!!! No pawing the ground, throwing his head, or pushing into space!! He has been taken on trails and ridden around the property. I am thrilled with the care and training he has received."

"Nice clean and safe facility. I sent two mares for training with Joe Ammann, and Mary (the owner/manager) was great as far as handling the paperwork, making it a smooth transition, and ensuring my horses had excellent care while they were in work with Joe. I liked the individual run style stall and felt confident in my horse's safety with the continuous pipe fencing. When I visited at two weeks and picked them up at 30 days, their stalls were always immaculate, they were in good weight, and they were able to have the training with the support of things like the hotwalker for fitting, the indoor arena for inclement weather, and the wonderful care provided by the ranch and its staff. I also like that the ranch has actual acreage for the training horses to go out and be ridden on; not all arena work."

"Joe trained a filly for several months for me. She advanced well under Joe's training. Joe was also great at giving me lessons. Very helpful"

"Took my daughter and niece for a riding lesson for Christmas. First-timers ages 6 and 7, neither has been on a horse before. Clare was amazing. Patient, knowledgeable and fun. She chose great horses for the girls and paired them perfectly with their personalities. They learned so much and had a lot of fun. She had the following commands, confident with the horses and walking around the arena all on their own. It's a beautiful setup, and you can tell the horses are well taken care of. Everyone there was so friendly. We will be back!!"

"I spent a full week taking lessons with Joe Ammann. I was raised around cattle, but I was absolutely clueless when it came to horses, but I enjoyed the week so much that I was ready to find a horse and put what I learned to use on the ranch at home! That's when Joe and Mary went the extra mile and found a spectacular horse that fits my needs! I would very much recommend their expertise with any of your equine needs! Good people!"
